current event

In a recent article by Stan McNeal of Sporting News MLB entitled “St Louis Cardinals’ need for Carpenter’s return intensifies.”McNeal informs his readers of one purpose in writing this article:  1) tell the readers that Chris Carpenter is ready to pitch and could be a key return for the Cardinals.

Chris Carpenter, the man who had a three day rest start during the World Series, is ready for a return. What a miraculous comeback for him after having a so called season ending surgery in July and to come back ready to play in September. Carps return might spark another playoff run for the Cardinals, and maybe even another World Series Championship.

As reported in the article, Carp has had numerous simulated games to bring his arm strength up to par, and after Jake Westbrook’s injury Carp might be primed for a return.

while reminiscing on last years Championship performances, I could not hold back my excitement to see carp pitch again.

Finally, if Chris Carpenter returns it will mark another amazing feat no matter how good or bad he plays down the stretch.
